Born in California
Sock Cat plushies were born from an idea that arose when our kitten no longer fit inside of his favorite sock. Now that same cat has taken a Sock Cat plushie in as one of his own.
Our goal is to share the love of Sock Cats across the globe.
Our founder and designer, Sammy Gome, is of the idea of giving a sense of wonder to everyday objects. As a child, he had an obsession with stuffed animals that transferred into his early adult hood. As a furniture designer, he always felt he had to give into designing a plushie for the 7 year old version of himself, and that is how Sock Cats were born. We source beautiful materials that are softer, subtler and long lasting. Sock Cats are 100% hand made!
